Abstract

|
Objectives : This Study was to understand the relationship between smoking and drinking behaviors among some Korean university and college students.
Methods : This study is based on data from National Survey of Health and Nutrition 2013 carried by Ministry of Health and Welfare. The respondents consisted of 319 students. The data were analyzed by using SPSS 18.0 program.
Results : The analysis of the correlation between smoking and drinking behaviors.
Conclusions : To explore the smoking and drinking problem among university and college students, the first step should be a national representative survey with scientific methods. And health promotion program should be targeted at university and college students considering smoking and drinking behaviors. Also, the health policy for students, through various ways, such as health counselling service, health education should be employed.
